PEOPLE living in Worcestershire don't need the luck of the Irish to join a new dance school.
Mary Felton is opening the McCarthy Felton School of Irish Dancing at Claines Parish Hall next month.
Ms Felton, who has been a dance teacher for 40 years, is holding an open day at the dance school on Thursday, June 18 from 3.30pm to 5pm.
She already runs a dance school with her daughter near Evesham, but says she wants to bring the style of dance to more people in the county.
"There have been dancing classes held before in Claines, but there hasn't been one here for a while, so we thought it was the perfect place to open a school," she said.
"We work with children and young people aged five and up. I would say that Irish dancing is the best thing you can do. It teaches skills for life, such as presentation, concentration and confidence, as well as being fantastic exercise and good for getting rhythm. It's brilliant fun."
