A SWINDON pub will be rocking and rolling out as it raises funds for children who suffered from the Nepal earthquake disaster.

The Hinksford Arms will host a family fun day and festival from 1pm on Saturday (June 27), with the aim of making as much money as possible for the Save the Children’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal.

A bouncy castle, fundraising stalls, raffle, auction and Nepalese food will all be part of the pub’s charity day, which will see live bands playing from 2pm.

The event will feature a variety of music to give it a "festival feel" including bands and discos carrying on until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The pub is also holding a charity bike ride for the cause starting at 10am.

A 20-mile route, which participants can ride in fancy dress, will begin in Stourport and finish at the pub, in time for the family fun day.
