WORK is moving fast on the new Lidl store on Windermere Drive in Warndon.
These pictures show the store taking shape opposite the site of the former Archdales 73 Club, which was partly destroyed in a fire earlier this year.
As part of the plans, a new clubhouse is being built next to the Lidl store.
Last month Lidl confirmed it would now open its doors early in the new year, despite initially aiming for summer 2015.
As reported by your Worcester News in February this year, there will be 30 staff on the site — 10 more than the current Lidl on Blackpole Retail Park, which will close once the new site opens.
It will come with 134 parking spaces and the new-look supermarket will lead to a raft of tree planting to improve the landscape.
