ONE in three people in the West Midlands consider themselves 'accident prone', a study has found.
National Accident Helpline asked 2,200 people and found that advancements in technology mean Brits are finding new ways to injure themselves.
Fourteen per cent of people have walked into someone while checking their mobile phone and 15 per cent of those in the Midlands claim they have dropped their phone on their face while reading it lying down.
Other gadget related injuries included falling off a hover board, being injured by a kitchen and stepping on plugs.
