A MAN who died after a fall at a business park near Bewdley has been named by police.

Shaun Tandy, 35, from Kent, was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called to Bewdley Business Park, off Long Bank, just after 10am on Thursday (January 14).

An ambulance, two paramedics and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford carrying a trauma doctor were also sent to the scene.

A joint investigation between West Mercia Police and the Health and Safety Executive is ongoing.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found staff carrying out CPR on a man who was in cardiac arrest.

"Ambulance staff carried out advanced life support on the man, but sadly it was not possible to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "We were called to an address on Bewdley Business Park to reports of an industrial accident.

"A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.

"A joint investigation between West Mercia Police and the Health and Safety Executive is now underway."
