A 10-year-old girl who captured people's hearts and inspired her father to raise thousands for charity has died suddenly.

Milla Frobisher died on Tuesday, December 13 from a suspected bleed in her stomach while visiting her mother's family in Indonesia.

Her devastated parents, from Ryeland Close, Worcester have asked people to "remember her as we will, full of happiness and never to be forgotten."

Triplets Milla, Louisa and Jewell were born to Tony and Rini Frobisher at just 24 weeks at Liverpool Women's Hospital, with Milla weighing just 1lb 6oz. Sadly, sister Jewel passed away at 17 days.

Milla, who had severe cerebral palsy and Louisa were called a "miracle" and inspired their father to take on numerous fundraising challenges, including cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End, climbing mount Kilimanjaro and running the London Marathon.

The challenges, along with two volumes of 'Milla's Cookbook', raised more than £30,000 for charities including Acorns Children's Hospice, Make A Wish and Bliss.

Despite facing severe disability, including being tube fed and wheelchair bound, Milla was well known for her beaming smile and happy nature.

Her devoted parents said they and daughter Louisa were "devastated and utterly heartbroken" at Milla's death.

Her father has penned a moving open letter calling Milla his "inspiration" while Louisa has written a poem dedicated to her sister and remembering the nhappy times they shared.

Mr Frobisher said: "I have never felt such pain.

"Milla, who for 10-and-a-half years, smiled and laughed every day and brought joy to us all and everyone she met.

"We came out here to visit our family, to enjoy a break as a family.

"We will return not with Milla who will be buried today, but instead with wonderful memories of our beautiful Milla.

"I ask nothing more than for you to please look at Milla's smiling face and remember her as we will, full of happiness and never to be forgotten."

Tributes to Milla have come pouring in from around the world from friends, family and those touched by her story.

Her legacy will continue, with plans for another fundraiser next year and the family are also hoping to organise a 'Milla's Picnic' event.

Every May, the family usually visit Stratford and have a picnic by the river.

Next year they hope to invite Milla's friends, teachers, their friends and families to have a big picnic to celebrate her life.

Copies of the second volume of Milla's Cookbook are still available, featuring recipes from around the world including Olympic stars Laura Trott and celebrities Davina McCall and Jamie Oliver.

Money raised will go to Make A Wish and Bliss. They are available at millasinspiration.weebly.com, however, delivery may not be until the end of January.

Anyone wishing to give a donation in Milla's memory can do so by visiting make-a-wish.org.uk/donate-eilish or bliss.org.uk/appeals.

Evesham Journal:

"My dear Milla

I am writing this two days after you left us. Two days since you passed away so suddenly.

I am writing this as your dad, who loves you more than anything in the world.

Your life was not easy. To be born so early, 16 weeks premature was such a difficult start. To have survived six months in hospital, numerous setbacks and operations was miraculous.

You came home. Still weak. Tiny...breathing bottled oxygen. But you came home.

To be diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy was a hammer blow. Our world stopped. What did this mean?

You couldn't walk or talk, you couldn't eat properly and had to be fed by a stomach tube.

You had more operations. You had painful spasms that cramped your muscles.

Yet.

Ten-and-a-half years and what did your time on earth produce?

A lifetime of love. Of smiles. Of laughter. Even when you were sick or in pain, your smile remained.

A lifetime of inspiration. Your father. Me. I got up, got out and climbed mountains, ran marathons, cycled vast distances, wrote cookbooks. I raised money for charities so close to our hearts.

Why? Because you inspired me with your determination and strength despite enormous challenges.

Why? So I could help children like you and their families have a better more comfortable happy life.

Why? Because I knew when I came home, there would be a huge smile and a big cuddle waiting.

Why? Because of you Milla.

You touched so many lives. You inspired so many people.

You lived as full a life as we could give you. Difficult as it was to care for you..exhausting.

But I was so proud to be your dad. It was a privilege to introduce you, my Milla to friends and strangers alike. My brave, strong, happy smiling girl. I was. I AM so proud to be your dad. Nothing will ever change that.

Know you are loved. Know your life was worthwhile and valued. Know we and so many people will always remember you and love you.

Everywhere I look I see you. But it is in my heart I will see you always.

We will look after Louisa while you sleep.

I love you so much.

Rest now. Sleep well.

Dad xxxx"

*Milla's twin sister, Louisa, has written a heartfelt poem dedicated to her sister, who was younger by three hours.

The pair were extremely close, sharing a special bond with one another, and Louisa says she misses her sister every day.

Evesham Journal:

I'm feeling sad

Because I miss Milla a lot

And my sister has got flowers on her grave

But I'm so happy I've still got

Daddy and Mummy

But I miss Milla every day

I remember the happy times I

Played with Milla

And her beautiful face

I really miss her smile

Because she suddenly died

The 13th of December is a day

I won't forget

Milla I love you
