A PURSE has been stolen from a handbag whilst the owner was shopping.
The theft in Bridge Street, Evesham was last seen in a card shop and it was only when the bank notified her of the money being withdrawn that she realised it was missing.
The purse is brown with leather tangle bits on it and contained various bank cards and a driving licence.
The purse was stolen at around 3pm on Wednesday.
