EVESHAM Rowing Club is busy preparing for its annual Regatta.
With several thousand rowers and spectators set to descend on the town over the May Bank Holiday weekend for one of the biggest events in the rowing calendar, club officials are predicting that this year's event will break all records.
Entries are already up on last year's record with more than a week to go until entries close.
Refreshments will be available from the clubhouse on Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6 and, with excellent viewing from Crown Meadow and Abbey Park, the people of Evesham are warmly invited to come and cheer on their local crews.
