WORCESTERSHIRE’S Matt Neal was one of the winners in the final three races of the British Touring Car Championship season at a wet Brands Hatch.

But second-placed Neal’s Honda Civic team-mate Gordon Shedden left as the newly-crowned champion, the first Scottish driver to lift the coveted prize since 1995.

Shedden (left) and Neal are pictured celebrating the success as their Pershore-based Honda Yuasa Racing outfit won the HiQ teams’ trophy and Honda/Dynamics the Manufacturers/Constructors Championship at last weekend’s event.
