ROSANNA Mutsaars was a record-breaker as Bourton Roadrunners juniors finished their Gloucestershire Cross-country League campaign.

In the girls’ section, under 13s competitor Mutsaars won every league race — the only Bourton runner to record the rare achievement.

She dominated the finale in Gloucester, triumphing in eight minutes 46 seconds for the overall gold medal.

Silver medallist Felicity Darwent was second in 8.55 and Gabby Jones finished 11th in 9.44 as Bourton were second team on the day and league gold winners. Isobel Hartley was 27th in 11.22.

Lucy Griffin, third on the day in 5.30, won the overall silver medal for under 11s with Josephine Mutsaars (fifth in 5.39) taking bronze.

With Bethan Powell (seventh in 5.48), Bourton claimed team silver after finishing second in the finale.

Helena West was 25th in the race in 6.09 and Molly Hughes 29th in 6.24.

For the boys, under 11s runner Dylan Williams was 16th in 5.39, John Nevis 19th in 5.45 and Elliot England 22nd in 5.49 as they were third team on the day and bronze medallists overall.

In the under 15s, Alfie Howells- Smith finished third in 17.51. Peter Wood was fifth in 19.16 and Jo Salf sixth in 19.23 to ensure Bourton were first team on the day and bronze medallists overall.
