EVESHAM Vales’ Juniors were in fine form at the Warwickshire Sharks Aquathlon.
Hattie Gill and Eleanor Tarring won the girls’ tristar one and three respectively in eight minutes 34 seconds and 14.13, while Rosie Denning was ninth in the tristar two.
In the boys’ tristar two, Morgan French was ninth and Ollie Gill 15th with James Cross 14th in the tristar three and Ben Harris eighth youth.
Senior James Vann’s first 2013 triathlon in Hampshire saw him 64th overall and 14th in category in one hour eight minutes 55 seconds.
At the Crowle 10-kilometre race, Sara Turner ran close to a personal best. Tarring was third in the one-mile event with Oliver Turner and Zoe Bugg also shining.
Five members completed their first triathlons — David Webster at Stratford and Helen Morris, Emma Attwood, Stuart Bonham and Andrew Stern at Tewkesbury.
- Twenty-one Evesham Vale Running Club members tackled the Crowle 10k.
Simon Hall led them home in 36.32 for eighth overall and second in his age group.
Lindsey Lewis-Painter ran 42.34 to finish third woman and win her age group.
