MEMBERS fished the fourth of their five-round Townsend Lake Series at Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery.

On Jenny’s pool, Oli Johnson put 48lbs of carp and tench in the net to win the junior category.

Juniors: Johnson 48-0, Tom Williams 44-8, Harry Stephenson 41-0; intermediates: Matt Kinnersley 17-0; seniors: Maurice Taylor 69-0, Glenn Robinson 39-0, Paul Williams 37-0.

MOSELLA MANOR FARM AND LEISURE

THE annual five-day festival attracted 89 anglers from all over the country who braved strong winds, rain and cold temperatures.

Despite this, there were 16 weights of more than 100lbs throughout the week.

Mark Malin (Colmic/Bait Tec/Vespe) came out on top with six points thanks to four section wins and a second place. He mainly fished the pole, using pellet and worm and caster.

Andrew Quarmby (Middy/ Bag Em Baits) was second on seven with three section wins and two seconds, also fishing pole with pellet, worm and caster. Craig Ebbrell (Maver Midlands) finished third with nine.
