LITTLETON’S run without a Midland Combination Premier Division victory stretched to five games following a 3-2 home defeat by Earlswood.
The hosts, who have seen leading scorer Jamie Insall join Midland Alliance outfit Westfields, trailed 3-0 before mounting a too-little-toolate fightback.
Following early chances for the hosts, Earlswood took the lead from the penalty spot on 35 minutes through Roy Dunkley and added a second from Lee Dunkley before the break.
Moments after the restart, Lee Dunkley scored a second to further extend the visitors’ advantage.
Littleton looked dead and buried and Earlswood should have added a fourth but over elaborated in front of goal.
However, the hosts were awarded a penalty of their own in the 65th minute and Stuart Hall fired home from 12 yards.
Littleton sensed a chance to get back into the game and, with five mins to go, Kyonn Evans played in Hall for his second.
