THE performances of three Dumbleton cricketers were recognised at their county award presentations.
Daniel Holland was named ‘Most Valuable Player’ for Worcestershire Under 11s after a brilliant first season for the county in which he managed to be the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker, as well as taking the most catches.
Will Sharp was also named ‘Player of the Year’ for Gloucestershire U13s and Danielle Gibson was given the same award for the Gloucestershire U13 girls side.
A total of eight boys and girls from Dumbleton have so far been selected for county squads this winter, including three in the same Gloucestershire U10 squad — Will Gilderson, Arthur Kane and Tommy Boorman.
In addition, a further four players have been selected for Gloucestershire district squads.
