EVESHAM race ace Mark Tyrrell has secured the Darley Moor GP125 Championship at the Derbyshire circuit.
He also finished second overall in the lightweight championship on his Chapman- Tyrrell Racing Honda GP125 motorbike.
In wet, cool conditions for the eighth and final round, Tyrrell boasted a 15-point lead over GP125 holder Ricky Tarren.
Over 15 laps and with double points on offer, he was second behind Tarren which was enough to add the Darley Moor title to his East Midland Racing Association Championship crown.
The lightweight section saw Tyrrell also finish second behind overall victor Adam Hoare and his Honda GP250 to complete a superb season for the Vale star.
- Up-and-coming motocross rider Hedley Longford won the Phil Goodwin Memorial MX meeting in Stratford.
