EVESHAM United returned to winning ways with a 13-2 romp at bottom-of-the-table Leominster Town in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Women’s Football League.

On a windy afternoon, Evesham, who lost 4-3 to leaders Droitwich Spa the previous week, pressed immediately, leading to Rosie Johns opening the scoring.

Player-of-the-match Hannah Watts and Kasey Corbett controlled the midfield and played balls through for Hannah Campbell and Sophie Griffiths to net.

Campbell completed her hat-trick, while Evesham hit the bar twice and forced fine saves from the keeper.

Third-placed Evesham scored more through Immy Wray, captain Johns and Millie Meadows before Leominster pulled one back.

Laura Pearce (2), Bethany Guy, Griffiths and Meadows added to the tally with Leominster netting late on.
