EVESHAM United maintained their good form in Calor Southern League Division One South and West with a 3-2 victory at Godalming Town.
It is now just one defeat in seven matches for manager Paul Collicutt since taking over from Shaun Cunnington as United claimed their second win on the road this season.
Ed Williams enjoyed his second appearance since joining on loan from League Two Cheltenham Town, having a hand in all three goals.
Despite the long journey to Wey Court, Evesham were quickly out of the blocks and took the lead on eight minutes.
Williams’ pace took him past two defenders before crossing low to Carl Brown, who sent a first-time shot past Zaki Ovalah.
A second goal for the Robins arrived 11 minutes into the second-half when James Vercesi met Williams’ corner from the left with a powerful header that gave Ovalah no chance.
The hosts pulled a goal back when Graeme Purdy netted from the penalty spot after Nick Hutchings was tripped in the box.
Evesham went straight up the other end, though, to make it 3-1 two minutes later with another Vercesi header following Williams’ freekick.
Jon Palmer offered Godalming a glimmer of hope by making it 3-2 but Evesham easily saw out the rest of the game.
