EVESHAM United staged a dramatic fightback to book their place in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup final after a 3-2 extra-time win against holders Stourbridge at a wet and windy Amblecote.
The odds were stacked against Paul Collicutt's side when the Glassboys led 2-0 at half-time and looked to be heading for their fourth successive appearance in the final.
United, however, had other ideas and turned the game on its head with two second-half goals to take the tie into extra-time.
Then, within a minute, skipper Jared Wilson converted from the penalty spot to send the Robins through to face Redditch United or Worcester City in the final.
Tom Berwick opened the scoring for Stourbridge on 27 minutes and their lead was doubled when Jordan Fitzpatrick drove past keeper Louise Barnfather 10 minutes before the break.
Swirling wind and driving rain made life difficult for both teams but United adapted better in the second-half and pulled a goal back on 57 minutes.
Carl Brown sprung Elliot Kennedy into action down the right and the speedy winger beat keeper Dean Coleman with an unstoppable drive into the roof of the net.
United were now on the front foot and the pace of Lance Smith and Kennedy was causing the Stourbridge back four all sorts of problems.
Their efforts were rewarded when Smith got between a couple of defenders 15 minutes from time to touch in Wilson's cross and send the game into extra-time.
Inside the opening seconds of the first period, United stunned the home crowd by going ahead for the first time.
Smith outpaced the Stourbridge defence only to be hauled down in the box by Coleman, who was lucky to escape with just a booking, and Wilson made no mistake with a smartly taken penalty.
Stourbridge were awarded a spot-kick when Will Wellon fouled Fitzpatrick but Barnfather produced a brilliant diving save to deny substitute Sean Geddes.
Despite Brown getting his marching orders for two bookings late on, United saw out time for a memorable win.
