ALL-rounder Moeen Ali has been named in the England one-day squad to take on Scotland this month.
The Worcestershire star, 26, is part of the 13-man group selected for the fixture on Friday, May 9, in Aberdeen.
Moeen, who scored 99 in the County’s innings-and-64-run victory over Derbyshire this week, made his one-day international debut against the West Indies in February.
He hit 44 runs and took one wicket before featuring in England’s ill-fated ICC World Twenty20 campaign in Bangladesh.
It is the first squad named by former Worcestershire player Peter Moores since he took over as England head coach for the second time.
