ZAIRE Taylor has stunned Worcester Wolves by joining British Basketball League rivals London Lions for next season.

The point guard, who was named most valuable player for both Wolves and the BBL, leaves just a month after helping Worcester win the play-off final at Wembley Arena.

Taylor, also part of the Wolves team that won the BBL Trophy, averaged 19 points per game, 7.1 assists and 4.5 rebounds.

He said: “It was a tough decision to make but I am really pleased to join the team in the capital.”
