EVESHAM’S Aimee Lane was victorious at her local West Midlands Youth Circuit Series race.
Hosted by Severn Valley Velo at Stourport, the 11-year-old won the girls’ under-12s section by a country mile with a strong performance.
Lane got in front of a few boys on the line after being restricted to second place in the last round at Lichfield when feeling unwell.
The St Egwin’s Middle School pupil was close by mere seconds to the track records for women’s times around the course.
Lane also enjoyed a race round with champion street velodrome rider Dave Johnson at Evesham Country Park.
