PERSHORE Town have signed attacker Sean Brain ahead of their return to Step 5 in the Hellenic League Premier next season.
Brain signs having spent last season in and out of the Worcester City team, and spent time with Studley FC, having returned to the club after a spell with Evesham United.
He will now look to propel Pershore to another successful season, with the Plums having won the 2022/23 Hellenic League Division One title.
"Joining ‘The Plums’ is exciting for me, a good squad which has had a very successful period," said Brain after completing the move.
"When speaking to Lewis it was easy for me to make my decision on joining the club with the future plans in place. A new management team in place along with a few new faces to kick on to the goals of having a successful season"
New manager Lewis Marston has lost the likes of captain Kirk Layton and Logan Stoddart to Worcester City this week, but has gained an experienced non-league goalscorer in Brain.
"Brainy is an exciting player that will get the Pershore faithful off their seats," added Marston.
"He had a season full of injuries last season whilst still managing to show he knows where the goal is when fit, having spoken to Sean he is keen to stamp his mark on the 23/24 season.
"I believe Pershore is the perfect place for Sean to flourish and grow, with that being said I can’t wait to work alongside him this coming season."
