THE Worcestershire Rapids will face New Zealand at New Road in a T20 match in August ahead of the Black Caps' four-match series with England later this year.

The Black Caps will come to Worcester for the game on Friday, August 25 (2.30PM start) ahead of their T20 series with England.

New Zealand are currently ranked third in the world and boast a squad that is packed with international superstars, including Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell and Tim Southee.

Worcestershire Vitality Blast star Mitchell Santner could return to New Road alongside former Rapids overseas stars Matt Henry, Ish Sodhi and Martin Guptill.

Early bird tickets for the contest are just £15 for adults and £5 for kids. Members can purchase half-price tickets for themselves, Adults £7.50 and juniors £2.50.

England and The Black Caps will go head-to-head in their first T20 match at Chester le Street on August 30. They then play the second of their matches at Old Trafford (September 1) before playing at Edgbaston (September 3) and Trent Bridge (September 5). 

They then have four ODI matches against each other in the following 10 days.
