GOALS from Sarah Hall and Sophie Hamilton guided Bretforton Hockey Club's to victory over East Glos in the West Clubs League North Division.
The home side patiently built up pressure on East Glos and it told when they were awarded several penalty corners. One routine appeared to have gone slightly awry but when Lisa Workman popped up and pushed the ball back across the face of the visitors’ goal, Bretforton’s top scorer Hall was perfectly placed to sweep the ball home inside the near post.
Her team-mates Emma Lowe and Donna Whitehouse kept the ball moving forwards and with pace from Deb Slatter, Bretforton continued to terrorise East Glos.
In the second-half, Hall beat the entire East Glos defence and placed an inch-perfect pass from the back post to Hamilton.
She then hit the ball into the back of the net to seal her side’s win.
