BELOW-strength Evesham seconds were left stranded at the bottom of ENER-G West Midlands Division One after a 9-0 defeat to Streetly.

The visitors started with only 10 players but benefitted from a wellrehearsed plan with Chadwick converting two first-half penalty corners.

Evesham forced several saves in an attacking spell but Streetly emerged with the full quota of players after the break and Chadwick finished the game with six goals. Tad added a hat-trick for the visitors.

􀁧 Evesham fourths fell 2-0 at home to Worcester sevenths in Central League South West Division Two.

But the hosts took early control through Ashley Padfield in midfield with David Trevorrow and Dan Stringer denied by fine stops.

Stringer hit the post before Worcester went ahead on 20 minutes against the run of play from a rebound after keeper Dan Osborne saved.

Evesham missed more chances in the second period through Stringer and Nick Patel, while Osborne kept the visitors out at the other end until a controversial late penalty flick.
