TWENTY-three members placed just over 1,100lbs of fish on the scales in an excellent match averaging 48lbs a competitor.

First was Mark Birbeck from Withies peg 25 with 100lb 10oz followed by Steve Roger (85-8) and Janice Smith with 82-8 from the Jubilee pool.

Section wins went to Phil Seedhouse (81-0), Martin Smith (68-12) and Fred Reynolds (57-8).

The annual Jubilee and Bidford match will be at Jubilee Fishery on Saturday with a 9am draw. There is a members match at Cob House on Sunday, draw 8.45am.
