BADSEY soldier Chris Holt came back from his posting to join international medallists in London Chinatown Tae Kwon Do’s annual Bredon Hill Cup event.

He was runner-up in two of the sparring events at Bredon Hill Middle School, Ashton-under-Hill.

The 2009 winner Isabella Bridges was in the audience to see 2010 victor Dee Milbery, of Aston Somerville, triumph again.

Milbery’s son Rhys was runner-up with Chipping Campden teenager Rebecca Nevin taking third place.

London Chinatown have classes in the Cotswolds and Vale and will be holding a number of autumn open events, including a free martial arts movie night on November 9 in Broadway.
