ASHTON-under-Hill lost the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League final to holders Cutnall Green.
In the semis, the Evesham Division champions scored 64-3 in reply to Oldswinford’s 62 all out with 2.1 overs left in Worcester.
Will Archer took 2-20 before Ashton cantered home despite losing Richard Cooper, Jon Cooper and Tom Archer.
Ashton then scored 129-1 in the final but Green managed 133-3 with eight balls left.
Will Archer and Jon Cooper both retired for Ashton after reaching 25. Richard Cooper added 15, Tom Archer 14 not out and Mahesh Patel 13no.
In reply, Jack Perks forced a stumping and Ashton claimed two run-outs but Green lifted the Granger Trophy.
