SHIPSTON-on-Stour Cricket Club will welcome England internationals Tim Bresnan and Jonathan Trott to London Road for their President’s XI match on Sunday.

England fast bowling coach David Saker, who plays for the Cotswold Hills League side when he can, has recruited the big names for the charity clash at 1.30pm.

Warwickshire batsman Trott and Yorkshire allrounder Bresnan have confirmed their attendance.

Among those expected to turn out for Shipston president John Bradley are the national coach Andy Flower and ex-Test bowler Mike Selvey. Saker, a fast bowler with Victoria and Tasmania in the past, will play too.

Old Enfield team-mates from Saker’s time in the Lancashire League will also face Shipston’s first XI.

Spectators are welcome and a barbecue will follow their junior section awards ceremony at 12.30pm.
