EVESHAM United manager Paul Collicutt admits his side haven’t scored enough goals in their Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West campaign.

The Robins host 17th-placed Wimborne Town at the Jubilee Stadium tomorrow (3pm) after hitting the net only five times in their opening six matches.

Collicutt felt Evesham had an injury-time effort from Nick Stanley harshly ruled out in Monday’s 0-0 draw at Banbury United.

Collicutt is keen to replace striker Ashley Edenborough and attacking midfielder Lee Smith who left the club last week to join Swindon Supermarine and Cinderford Town respectively.

“I am looking to bring in one or two people in various positions and among that is a need for someone who can score a goal or two,” said Collicutt, whose side are 12th in the division.

“I have been trying hard but we’ve had no luck so far. If we can find someone who can score a few goals, it would make things easier.”

Jared Wilson (hip), Ashley Williams (calf), Liam Harding (dead leg) and Lance Smith (groin) are all battling to overcome injuries for the Wimborne clash.

Defender Lewis Binns, who has been out of action since December, is expected to return to the Robins’ squad in the next couple of weeks.

Former Stourport Swifts skipper Jamie Willets is expected to make his debut for Hereford at high-flying Heanor Town in the Midland League Premier Division.

Swifts face Pegasus Juniors at Old School Lane in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase, while Pershore Town face a trip to Wulfrunians.
