EVESHAM United boss Paul Collicutt is demanding a reaction from his players against Burnham at the Jubilee Stadium tomorrow (3pm).

The Robins will welcome back influential skipper Matt Sysum, who missed last Saturday’s disappointing 3-0 home defeat against Taunton Town.

Evesham are now 12th in the table, five points shy of the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West play-offs.

Collicutt said: “It was bitterly disappointing against Taunton, particularly in the first-half, and I am looking for a reaction. Conceding three first-half goals was a bitter pill to swallow and, at the moment, our mistakes are being punished.

“We have got to get our bounce back because there is a big difference between picking up three points and getting nothing.

“We have to win as many games as we can between now and the end of the season to try to get into the play-offs.”

Buckinghamshire outfit Burnham are 17th in the table with 12 points from 12 matches.

Sysum's availability, having served a one-match suspension, is a boost for the Robins but George Washbourne is doubtful after picking up a knee injury.

Collicutt admits he is looking to strengthen his squad.

“We are keeping our ear to the ground to see if anyone is available but I don’t think anything will happen before the weekend,” he added.
