PERSHORE Town deservedly won 3-1 at Lichfield City in Midland League Division One.

Trailing 1-0 after an even first period on a heavy pitch, the visitors controlled much of the second-half.

They scored three goals in 11 minutes with the first after 54 minutes when a flowing move was headed in by Joe Walsh at the back post.

Right-back Steve Webb cut inside five minutes later and scored with a left-footed 25-yard strike to put Pershore ahead.

Another good move was finished off by Joe Robinson from 10 yards to complete the scoring.

Town host basement boys Pelsall Villa on Saturday (3pm).
