WALLACE House Troopers moved to the top of Evesham and District Association Specsavers Division Two with wins against Littleton Dolphins and Wyre Barbedwyre.
Barring an unlikely heavy defeat in their final rearranged match, they will be champions.
Troopers’ Keith Ferguson will also be named the top individual player after a straight-sets victory over nearest rival James Morrow of Littleton Dolphins.
Ferguson is unbeaten since October.
Meanwhile, Bengeworth Sharks secured second place with a routine 9-1 win over Littleton Bears.
Dave Bevington put in a strong performance for Littleton Giants, winning three against Littleton Dolphins and claiming his first player-of-the-match award this season.
However, Dolphins won the match 6-4 as John McKay and Tim Whales fought back with two wins each and Barry Anstey got his first victory of the season.
