PERSHORE Greyhounds recorded a personal best time at the Venice Vogalonga in Italy.
The long row was started in 1974 as a protest against excessive motorised craft in Venice and became a popular international event.
Pershore completed the 32-kilometre course in three hours 15 minutes with each member of the mixed crew, aged from 15 to 74, receiving a medal and certificate.
They then enjoyed a victory paddle on the Grand Canal and were greeted by the anthem of God Save The Queen from the mainly Italian crowd.
The group paddle twice weekly from the Angel Inn Hotel gardens and welcome newcomers.
