PERSHORE Tennis Centre’s Lucie Palmer will meet Tim Henman and play at Wimbledon next month.
The 14-year-old won three matches in the county final rounds to qualify for the main stages of the Road To Wimbledon Grassroots event.
She follows Pershore’s Imogen Looker, who reached Wimbledon last year, with the chance to play on the practice grass courts at Aorangi Park in August.
Palmer will have a free tour of the grounds and museum, meet Henman and attend a players’ party.
In the boys’ competition, Pershore’s Matt Sime made it through to the last round of the county final but lost.
