Pershore recorded a memorable 5-1 victory against Stourbridge A
PERSHORE Ladies recorded a memorable 5-1 victory against Stourbridge A in Division One of the Hereford and Worcester County League.
It was the first time, for many years, a Pershore team had achieved a win against the current league leaders multi-title winners.
Sarah McCormick captained Pershore who included Katie Baston, Lucie Palmer, Rachel Prudden, Michelle Collings and Georgie Cupper.
McCormick said: “We played excellent tennis.”
