VALE team Jones Dorling Racing are working on suspension issues on the BMW 1000 bike which are hampering rider Ashley Beech's progress.

The British Superstock Championship heads to Snetterton, Norfolk, from June 15.

In round three at Oulton Park, Beech qualified 26th and moved up to 20th after dropping back to 30th following an incident in front of him.

Cameron Fraser and Ewan Potter qualified 21st and 27th respectively on their Yamaha 600 bikes.

Fraser soon battled up to a points-scoring 14th and Potter 17th as they recorded their best finishes on the machines.

Team owner Chris Jones said: "We have to work hard to sort out the bike issues and we now have time to do so to ensure we are in a top-10 fighting position for the next round.

"But Beech did well with fighting back after avoiding the incident and with the bike feeling unstable.

"I am pleased with our new young riders Fraser's and Potter’s progress with the 600 and they are learning every round and improving lap by lap."

Meanwhile, Evesham's Mike Tustin eventually got back on track at Oulton Park in round three of the Ducati TriOptions Cup.

He qualified 14th for race one but had to pull out due to an electrical fault on his bike during the warm-up lap.

Tustin had to start the second contest from the back of the grid in 38th but stormed up the field to 14th for a points finish with some strong lap times.

The next race meeting is at Snetterton from June 15.
