ARDEN members raised £140 for the charity in the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Trophy at Defford.

The fleet concentrated on finishing in a fading breeze with David Bryden (Heron) winning the first race ahead of Keith Stevens (Comet) and Ralph Evans (Solo).

Stevens claimed the second before Malcolm Colledge (Comet) and Evans, while Alan Salerman (Enterprise) triumphed in the third followed by Evans and the overall winner Bryden.
