CLASSY FINISH: Evesham under eights after their Droitwich triumph.
EVESHAM under eights completed a fine season with an unbeaten run through four tournaments.
Under head coach James Lacy, the squad of more than 20 players won more than 60 per cent of their 68 games against opposition ranging from Shipston-on-Stour, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster Carolians and beyond. The collection of silverware began at Evesham’s own tournament as their two teams finished first and second.
They continued at Stratford with first and third positions before winning the Droitwich Spa competition with a victory over Sutton Coldfield and the Rugby 4 Heroes festival at Old Leamingtonians.
