WORCESTER Wolves women's firsts and seconds have a double-header tomorrow.
The firsts take on Northamptonshire Titans at 4pm at the University of Worcester followed by the seconds facing WLV Albion in a West Midlands derby.
Wolves' promotion-chasing National League Division Two North team go into their game on the back of a 61-47 win at Nottingham Wildcats.
Their strength in depth was key without at least six regulars and a slow start saw them go 7-0 down.
The much-improved hosts came out firing but when Toma Pulokatie drove through traffic to finish strongly Wolves were finally on their way.
They led the first quarter 16-13 with intense defence but foul trouble allowed Wildcats to keep within touch helped by accurate free-throw shooting.
Jess Dowles shone as Worcester held a three-point advantage after Nottingham hit a buzzer-beating three.
Both teams struggled from the field in the third quarter and Wildcats closed the gap to two.
But then Wolves blew the game wide open with a 16-0 run with Shanice Turner connecting on a three-point shot while Dowles did the damage on the inside.
The visitors held Wildcats to just eight fourth-quarter points.
Greta Pulokaite led all scorers with 15 points while Turner had 10 and six rebounds.
Head coach Ryan Emery said: "Defensively we are really clicking at the minute.
"We forced Nottingham into 22 turnovers and held our opponent under 50 points for the second game in a row.
"Shanice did a great job playing in a role she hasn’t been asked to play all year.
"Megan Mcloughlin, Violet Nhamo and Aalyah Malcom all stepped up massively."
