A 76-YEAR-old man has been sentenced for two assaults including one on a police officer.
As previously reported Philip Bryant, of Cowl Street, Evesham, pleaded guilty to two charges; assault by beating of an emergency worker and assault a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm in October.
Both offences took place on June 9 in Evesham. The emergency worker assaulted was police officer Ryan Boon.
Bryant appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court when he was fined £216, costs £185 and victim surcharge of £86.
Bryant was ordered to pay £487 in full within 28 days.
Tom Wickstead, prosecuted while Judith Kenney, defended, during the hearing at the court on December 14.
